Clear Braces

What are clear braces?

Clear braces are an easy, low-maintenance way to fix crooked or crowded teeth. They use a clear or tooth-coloured plastic that is applied to the front of the teeth, which then gradually moves them to their correct position. Unlike traditional metal braces, they are nearly invisible and can be worn with normal daily activities. Clear braces are perfect for many people, but they’re not right for everyone. Clear braces are available to patients of all ages. They can help adults with gum disease or children with orthodontic issues like overcrowding, underbites and posterior cross bites.

Why Clear Braces?

Clear braces don’t have any metal in them, but they’re still orthodontic devices that work to prevent and correct uneven bites and misaligned teeth. Clear braces are made of a thin wire and brackets that attach to your front bottom teeth and back upper teeth. Orthodontists use clear braces for young patients who want to avoid wearing metal braces or older patients who may not be able to wear traditional metal braces.
